Highlights
Although the season of 'Chushu' (End of Heat) has passed, the lingering summer heat still envelops Hong Kong. To provide a respite for busy urbanites, I.F. Gallery Hong Kong presents the "Summer Rest" exhibition. Continuing the successful initiative from our Tokyo and Singapore locations, this exhibition focuses on the themes of "coolness, tranquility, and rest." We have carefully curated a selection of poignant pieces from our collection, aiming to create an artistic haven where visitors can dispel the heat and soothe their spirits.
Program Introduction
The exhibition brings together works from nine contemporary Asian artists. Each piece acts as a gentle breeze, inviting you to slow down the pace of life. From the tranquil pastel aesthetics in Asuka Irie's "Snow and Chrysanthemums" to the hazy, serene ink washes in Seiji Sone's "Moonlight" series, the exhibition offers a soothing visual feast through diverse visual languages. Visitors can appreciate the delicate, elegant female portraits by artists such as Mitsuko Kuroki, Ayana Otake, and Yuki Nishioka, or immerse themselves in the healing feline gestures captured by Kazuko Maeda and Chinami Kato. Every detail reflects a gentle observation of life.
