The exhibition's conceptual core is drawn from Walter Benjamin's "The Arcades Project," contemplating how traces serve as a form of imminent presence. Yukihisa Isobe, known for his land art installations, excels in reviving environmental history; while the late Tetsuo Mizù, famous for his exploration of international maritime signal flags, imbues geometric color blocks with personal memories and emotions. The dialogue between the two explores the intersection of mapping-like precision and lyrical color, outlining a complete arc of human experience.
