Rice Body Theatre presents the latest production of the "Hong Kong Artists" Series 2026: "After Silence: Echo." Artistic director and choreographer Li Jiaqi invites audiences to delve into the complexities of urban existence. In the concrete jungle of today, encounters between individuals are often fraught with silent tensions, and fear—like a beast in the night—threatens to silence our voices. Inspired by the philosophy of the absurd found in the works of Albert Camus, Li Jiaqi transforms the friction between human desires and cold reality into a dynamic dance vocabulary. Through a careful synthesis of stage design, lighting, and video projections, the production offers a profound meditation on the absurdities of life and the fleeting moments of awakening.
