Green Tuen Mun is committed to promoting waste reduction and sustainable living, and in September 2026, they are launching a series of free environmental workshops. From the family-friendly "Ocean-Style Vase" to practical creations like "Natural Mosquito Coil" and "Dehumidifying Bottles," these sessions offer hands-on opportunities to practice eco-friendly living. Participants are encouraged to transform everyday waste into useful or decorative items, showcasing the endless possibilities of green living.

Program

This month's program is packed with diverse creative themes:

• Daily Life Series: Natural Mosquito Coils, Dehumidifying Bottles, Plectranthus Soothing Ointment, Sweet Orange Bubble Bath Bombs.
• Art & Craft Series: Ocean-Style Vases (family-friendly), Plastic Bottle Lanterns (Festival Limited/family-friendly), Coffee-scented Autumn Moon 3D Painting (Festival Limited), Animal Woven Fabric Art.
• Theme Limited: Coffee Grounds Scrub Soap.

Additionally, from Tuesday to Sunday, visitors can enjoy the "Elastic Snake Origami" and "Green Tuen Mun" guided tours to gain insights into environmental recycling and education.

Participation Details

• Fees: All activities are free of charge.
• Registration: Register via the online link or call 2496 4288 during office hours. Quotas are allocated via lottery; successful applicants will be notified 5 days before the event.
• Material Requirements: Please note that some workshops require participants to bring specific recyclable materials (such as plastic bottles, glass jars, molds, or old fabric). Please check the event page carefully before registering.

Venue & Access

Events take place at the "Green Tuen Mun" community recycling station, located at 9 Tuen Yi Street, Tuen Mun. Participants are encouraged to use public transport and support green commuting.
