Overview
The Global 6K for Water charity run is making a strong return to Hong Kong on January 10, 2027! Continuing the theme of "Running for Water Hope," the event aims to unite runners from around the globe to bring hope to children and communities lacking access to clean, safe drinking water.
Globally, 2.1 billion people still lack access to safely managed drinking water. Countless women and children must walk 6 kilometers daily to fetch water, which is often contaminated, posing serious health risks and preventing children from attending school. Since 2015, World Vision has organized the Global 6K for Water to raise funds for water infrastructure in water-scarce regions. Since its introduction to Hong Kong in 2024, the event has allowed participants to enjoy the sport while gaining a deeper understanding of the water crisis.
Event Highlights
This year, we are honored to have renowned actor Chan Kwok-pong, popular YouTuber Chichi, and child star Billy Tsui as event ambassadors, joining you to run for the cause of clean water.
New Addition: Pet-Friendly Categories! This year features the brand-new "Paws for Water Dog Obstacle Run" and "1K Dog Fun Walk." Pet owners and their furry companions are invited to step out together, enjoy the outdoors, and support children in need of clean water.

Venue & Access
The event will be held at the West Kowloon Cultural District Art Park, offering spectacular views of Victoria Harbour and providing an excellent outdoor running environment. The venue is easily accessible via MTR (Kowloon Station or Austin Station).
