Program Overview
The "Instruments Beyond Time" Pipe Organ Demonstration Concert, presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), is an educational programme designed to unveil the fascinating history and artistry behind the pipe organ. This concert offers an immersive experience, guiding audiences through the evolution of this majestic instrument and providing a unique window into its varied musical capabilities.
Performers
The concert features two accomplished organists:
- Chow Man-shan: Holding a Master’s degree in Organ Performance from the Royal Academy of Music and a recipient of the Walford Davies Prize, Chow is the Chief Organist and Choir Conductor at Oi Kwan Road Baptist Church. She frequently collaborates with local music groups, including the Hong Kong Church Music Association.
- Tang Chin-wong: A Master’s graduate in Organ Performance from the University of Alberta, Canada, Tang is the second-place winner of the Royal Canadian College of Organists National Organ Playing Competition. He currently serves as the Music Director at the Anglican Church of the Saviour in Calgary and teaches organ at the University of Calgary.

Ticketing Information
The event is open to individuals aged 6 and above. Admission is free, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis (no assigned seating). Registration opens on September 15, 2026.
