Program
"Victoria Harbour romance" is a piano marathon that spans the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern eras. Throughout this three-hour musical journey, pianist Mohs Zanyao Mok explores the depth and diversity of the piano repertoire. The program features intense and virtuosic pieces such as Liszt's "Grandes études de Paganini" and "Fantasie und Fuge über das Thema B-A-C-H," Brahms' "Variations on a Theme by Paganini, Op. 35," and works by Prokofiev, Haydn, Scriabin, and Szymanowski. The evening culminates in a tribute to the poetic soul of Chopin, featuring selections from his "24 Etudes," the "Ballade No. 4 in F minor, Op. 52," and the "Polonaise-Fantaisie in A-flat major, Op. 61."
