Program

Students will embark on a structured journey into the Stanislavski method, an approach centered on the concept of "experiencing." The curriculum begins with sensory exercises designed to heighten the actor's sensitivity through the core principles of "true listening" and "true seeing." Participants will learn to enhance their imagination within fictional environments, focusing on character relationships, location, and timing. The course incorporates techniques such as "sensory memory" and "emotional memory," enabling actors to transform personal experiences into compelling stage material. By exploring motivations, objectives, and actions, students will move toward a performance that feels authentic and truly lived on stage.

Instructors

Led by professional instructor Lau Wing-suen, the course provides a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, ideal for anyone aged 16 or above seeking to refine their acting craft.

Schedule

The course consists of 6 sessions held on Friday evenings from November 2026 to January 2027, from 19:30 to 22:30. Students who maintain an attendance rate of 80% or above will be awarded a certificate of completion and will receive priority for enrollment in advanced classes.

• Fee: HKD 4,400.
• Discount: A 5% discount is available for HKRep "Friends" or Green Pal members.
