"Super Memory" Exhibition

Presented by Chimera Dept and curated by Florence Lam and E8mkboy, "Super Memory" invites audiences to reflect on the nature of preservation and human connection. Held at the loft of Not Two Art Space on Yee Kuk Street, Sham Shui Po, the exhibition features works by twenty local Hong Kong artists.

About the Exhibition

The exhibition is framed within a 2066 cold utopia, a future where face-to-face interaction and excessive empathy are illegal, and time has become an incredibly expensive commodity. Hidden above a cabaret on the edge of the city, a secret exhibition room serves as a sanctuary for "physical memories" exchanged with "Super Memory" forty years prior, in 2026. This space acts as a time capsule, preserving the artistic mediums and human emotions that have otherwise vanished in the future society, challenging the audience to consider what they would choose to preserve if memories could be locked away.
