Sound Healing Journey

Overview

As the sounds of the gongs and drums from the Kat O Jiao Festival fade, the blessings and connections on the island remain. This event continues the lingering vibes of the festival, using sound as a bridge to transform these blessings into a healing force. Set within the natural surroundings of the Kat O Tree Garden, we invite you to join this approximately 30-minute sound journey to experience the resonance between nature and your inner self.

Program

Through the sonic resonance of human voice and the shruti box, you will be guided into a state of deep listening, accompanied by the natural sounds of Kat O's waves and breeze. This session is designed not only for relaxation but also as an opportunity to reconnect with your inner self and rediscover peace and strength in the embrace of nature.

Additionally, the event features a hands-on crafting session where participants can create their own small wind chimes. This allows you to bring the healing sounds of Kat O back into your daily life, extending this meaningful connection.

Important Notices

• This event is co-presented by The Conservancy Association and Fragrant Village, and supported by the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme.
• Transportation: Participants must arrange their own transport to and from Kat O. If you choose the Sha Tau Kok ferry route, you must apply for a 'Closed Area Permit for Individual Visitors' at least 5 days before the event.
• Ferry Advice: Seats on the kaito ferry are limited and shared with the public. Please arrive at the pier early. Note that the walk from the Sha Tau Kok Public Pier entrance to the boarding area takes at least 10 minutes.
• Eligibility: Registration is open only to Hong Kong residents holding a valid HKID. Not suitable for children under 5.
• Please stay updated on the ferry schedule; the organizers are not responsible for delays caused by personal reasons.
