Part of the [End-of-Life Education and Friendly Caring Festival 2026], the "My Advance Care Planning Course - Treasure Hunt" is a specialized community engagement initiative presented by The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, Community Rehabilitation Network (Hong Shing Centre). This event uses an interactive "Treasure Hunt" format to introduce the public to the meaningful and vital concepts of end-of-life care planning. The activity will be held in Wang Tau Hom Estate, Kowloon, offering a space to reflect on the importance of life choices and personal well-being.

Program

Advance Care Planning (ACP) is a proactive approach for individuals to document their health care preferences while they are still able to do so. This course transforms the learning experience into a "Treasure Hunt" within the local Wang Tau Hom Estate. It aims to demystify end-of-life issues, making them accessible, relatable, and easy to understand through community exploration and interactive guidance. Participants will gain practical insights into how to make informed decisions about their future care.

Facilitator

The workshop is organized by The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, Community Rehabilitation Network (Hong Shing Centre). It will be facilitated by Ms. Yeung Sin-man, the Mental Health Officer, who brings professional expertise in mental health promotion and will guide participants through the core concepts of advance care planning.

The activity takes place at The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, Community Rehabilitation Network (Wang Tau Hom Centre). Located within Wang Tau Hom Estate, the venue is easily accessible for local residents.
