Afternoon Grassland Concert: World Music Experience [Quarryside Festival 2026]

Highlights ## The 'Afternoon Grassland Concert: World Music Experience [Quarryside Festival 2026]' is a cultural event designed to blend nature and music. Held on the lush activity lawn at 'Quarryside' in Quarry Bay, the event provides a peaceful retreat from the urban hustle. Curated by the visionary group 'Music Lab', this concert series aims to bridge the gap between art and daily life, offering the community a refreshing artistic encounter. ## Program ## The concert features two distinct performance sessions, inviting two unique acts to guide the audience through music beyond the mainstream. First, 'ONE Harmony Drumming Factory', founded by percussionist Halen Woo in 2013, will take the stage. They will perform with exotic instruments like African drums and marimbas, incorporating dance and interactive elements to showcase the vibrant energy of Manding and Cuban percussion. Following them is local musician 'Hakgwai'. Drawing inspiration from natural sounds like birdsong, frog croaks, and thunder, Hakgwai crafts music that resonates with nature. He will also share his 'Music Zen' concept, guiding the audience through mindfulness practices, such as focusing on breathing and heartbeat, to find inner peace and relaxation through music. ## Ticketing & Registration ## Admission is free, but advance registration is required via the art-mate platform. Each registration is limited to 4 spots. Seating is unassigned; please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts for registration. Attendees arriving 10 minutes late or more will be considered absent, and their spots will be given to walk-in visitors. A limited number of walk-in spots are available. ## Venue & Access ## The event takes place on the activity lawn of 'Quarryside'. Please note that the activity lawn is not pet-friendly. We recommend arriving early to enjoy this therapeutic autumn afternoon.
