About the Program

As a featured event of the "Quarryside Community Festival 2026," this workshop is organized by "St. James' Settlement - Quarryside" in collaboration with "Wave Paper Workshop" (浪花花紙教室). Founded in 2014, the Wave Paper Workshop is dedicated to preserving ancient papermaking traditions while integrating sustainable environmental practices and life education. This session offers more than just a DIY opportunity; it provides a hands-on learning experience on how to breathe new life into discarded materials through the timeless craft of papermaking.

Participation Details

To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, please note the following:

• Materials: Participants are required to bring their own pet hair (collected from roughly 2-3 days of grooming) and a plastic document folder to transport the finished work.
• Deposit: A refundable deposit of HKD 50 is required upon registration. This will be automatically refunded 6-8 weeks after attendance.
• Registration: Each individual is limited to one registration per email, with a maximum of 2 spots per application.
• Recycling: The venue will also be accepting aluminum-free drink cartons and A4 plastic document folders for recycling.
• Photography: Please be aware that photography and videography will be conducted during the event for promotional purposes.
