Caroline Guiela Nguyen: LACRIMA

About the Performance

Renowned French director Caroline Guiela Nguyen brings her critically acclaimed theatre piece 'LACRIMA' to Hong Kong. This production invites audiences into the meticulous world of haute couture, only to peel back the layers of its often harsh reality. The narrative unfolds across three distinct workshops tasked with a prestigious commission for the British Royal Family, yet beneath the surface of their exquisite craft lies a complex tapestry of personal trauma, family disintegration, and intense professional pressure. Using her signature cinematic stage language, Nguyen explores the profound human cost behind the pursuit of perfection.
