Program Overview

From the stages of the Osaka Expo to the dance spaces of Hong Kong, the "Breakthrough Journey" inclusive art voyage continues. Over the past three years, the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAHK) has participated in the "Breakthrough Journey" project, organized by the BiG-i International Communication Center for Persons with Disabilities in Japan. By collaborating with artists from diverse regions, backgrounds, and abilities, the project explores the limitless possibilities of inclusive art. Following their performance at the Osaka Expo 2025, this journey now extends to Hong Kong, inviting the public to experience the power of art to connect individuals through a series of engaging activities.

Highlights

Led by dancers from Japan and Hong Kong who have participated in the "Breakthrough Journey" project, this workshop encourages participants to explore and interact through movement in a relaxed, inclusive setting. No prior dance experience is required—participants are invited to express themselves in their own way, discovering unique forms of expression and the joy of dancing together, transcending linguistic and physical barriers.

We are honored to have two exceptional dancers serving as workshop leaders: Kingsan Lo from Hong Kong and Mizuki Kajimoto from Japan, who will guide participants through this inclusive dance experience.
