Introduction
This Halloween, prepare yourself for a profound emotional experience beyond the typical thrills of a haunted house. TWGHs Tung Po Stage Shadow Project proudly presents its first immersive theatre production, 'Soul Repairer'. Directed by Wong Chiu-sum, this production breaks the fourth wall, inviting the audience to step into a raw exploration of human desire and struggle.
Highlights
Over two months of intensive training, 15 young trainees and professional performers have crafted a theatrical journey exploring the 'Three Poisons' of Buddhism: Greed, Anger, and Ignorance. As an audience member, you are no longer a spectator but a trainee 'Soul Repairer'. Armed with a lantern, you will navigate the 'Stream of Desire', peering into the lives of trapped souls. With no fixed seating, you become an active participant in the story, searching for clues in the darkness and perhaps discovering that the souls most in need of repair and embrace are our own.
