Immersive Theatre: The Soul Repairer @ Tung Po

Highlights

This Halloween season, the Tung Po Shadow Project presents an immersive theatrical experience, "The Soul Repairer." More than just a performance, this is a deep spiritual trial. Participants will venture into Tung Po's signature immersive tunnel to navigate a journey defined by the Buddhist concepts of "greed, hatred, and delusion." Eschewing traditional seating, audience members are equipped with lanterns and enter the darkness as apprentice "soul repairers." It is a chance to confront the tormented souls of others and, in turn, examine one's own inner struggles. Directed by Wong Chiu-sum, the piece features actors Lau Wai-yiu and Ko Ki-yan, along with 15 youth trainees who have dedicated two months to crafting this intense experience.
