Program Overview
Utopia Cantonese Opera Workshop proudly presents the 15th Anniversary Cross-over edition of 'The General's Appointment,' a highlight of the 'Dream Pursuing Series' and its seventh grand revival. Drawing inspiration from the historical legend of the Chu-Han Contention, the play focuses on two iconic figures: the Overlord Xiang Yu and the War God Han Xin. Through dramatic storytelling, the production traces Han Xin's final 24 hours, posing a poignant question: when the 'God of Death' and the 'God of War' meet in the cracks of history, can fate offer a reprieve?
