Street Corner Chat: Neighborhood Stories and Urban Legends Collection [Luk Heung Commons Autumn Fair]

Highlights

The "Street Corner Chat" is one of the most humanistic features of the "Luk Heung Commons Autumn Fair." In the hustle and bustle of our urban lives, we aim to carve out a space for slow-paced respite. There are no barriers to participation—whether you are a long-time resident who has been deeply rooted here for years or a new neighbor who has just moved in, we warmly invite you to join us with your stories, curiosity, and even long-forgotten anecdotes about the neighborhood.

About the Program

This gathering abandons the formality of traditional lectures in favor of the most relaxed and grounded form of "blowing water" (casual chatting). We will sit together, share tea, and listen to everyone's memories connected to this land—perhaps the story of a long-vanished shop, long-standing local legends, or curious incidents known only to the elders. These fragmented community memories are not just pieces of history; they are the bonds that hold our community together. More importantly, every story you share could become a source of inspiration for our future creative projects.

Why Join?

This is more than just a gathering; it is a fantastic opportunity to rediscover your community and connect with your neighbors. Through sharing, we are not only preserving local history but also building warmth between people. There is no script here, only genuine conversation. We sincerely invite you to participate and experience this rich community spirit, adding a touch of cultural color to an autumn afternoon.
