Hong Kong Mad Orchestra 'What Are You Playing?' Multimedia Music Performance

Highlights

Welcome to 'What Are You Playing?'—a whimsical experimental night where sound art meets collective nostalgia! This multimedia performance by the Hong Kong Mad Orchestra will completely transform your perception of childhood games. The venue will be converted into a massive 'Sound Canvas' where artists capture real-time vibrations, clashing noises, and audience dialogue, distorting and amplifying them into an immersive, tension-filled sonic art installation.

Program

Participants will journey through a sound-focused version of classic childhood games:

• Tin Ha Tai Ping: A simple paper-and-pen game reimagined into an intense, battlefield-like experience with explosive sound effects.
• Ho Ka Kung Gai: Use sound positioning to find your animal companions in the dark.
• Eagle Catching Chicks: Experience a tense escape challenge amidst an immersive, 3D audio environment of footsteps and heavy breathing.
• Human Fortune Teller (Dong Nan Xi Bei): Become a piece in the game and navigate through a maze of audio interference to find your way.

This is not just a show, but a creative experiment about sound, games, and collective memory. The event is conducted in Cantonese, has no age limit, and welcomes friends of all ages to participate.
