Winter Band Battle Round 2: Three-Color Resonance, Echoes of a Winter Night

Highlights

"Winter Band Battle Round 2: Three-Color Resonance, Echoes of a Winter Night" brings together three distinctive local bands for a powerful live performance on a cold winter night. Hosted by DP Studio, this event aims to deliver an authentic and sincere musical experience.

Program

From the Raw Sound and harmony-focused Quarks, to the abstract and playful KAMistry, and the post-rock and classical piano-infused Humming In Our Chambers, three completely different musical languages will intertwine on the same stage. This 120-minute performance is more than just a band battle; it is a deep conversation about music and emotion.

Performers

• Quarks: Founded in 2017, the band focuses on raw sound and vocal harmonies. Finalists of the Hong Kong Youth Band Competition 2021, they are recognized for their genuine, unadorned sonic approach.
• KAMistry: A six-member group exploring the "Kamistry" (chemistry) between people. Their style is abstract, playful, and challenges the audience's perceptions of interpersonal relationships.
• Humming In Our Chambers: An underground band formed in 2023, known for weaving beautiful classical piano with emotional rock and explosive guitars to portray the hidden anxieties and suppressed emotions that emerge at night.
