Winter Band Battle Round 2 — Resonant Tones, Winter Echoes

Overview

"Winter Band Battle Round 2" returns with a powerful lineup! This concert brings together three local bands with distinct styles to weave a unique musical tapestry during the winter night. Through the clash of different musical genres, each band will present their most sincere sound, guiding the audience into an immersive auditory experience that resonates through the cold season.

Performers

This event features three unique acts:

• Quarks: Founded in 2017 by HKUST alumni, this band focuses on a 'Raw Sound' combined with vocal harmonies. They eschew excessive production, aiming for the most direct and honest musical resonance. They were finalists in the Hong Kong Youth Band Competition 2021.
• KAMistry: Comprised of six members who embrace their unconventional nature, the band aims to create 'chemical reactions' with the audience through their abstract and playful performance style.
• Humming In Our Chambers: An underground band established in 2023, they specialize in creating music perfect for late-night listening. By blending classical piano, emotive vocals, melodic rhythm sections, and explosive guitar riffs, they capture the anxieties and hidden emotions that surface after dark.
