About the Program
Led by acclaimed Japanese percussionist Kumi Masunaga and her team, this interactive session is open to everyone, regardless of musical experience. You will explore the ebb and flow of rhythm, creating a collective soundscape that ranges from powerful, driving beats to subtle, harmonious interludes. Celebrating a quarter-century of history with over 30,000 previous participants, the event will feature special guests returning to the drum circle to share rhythms and musical traditions from around the globe.
