Game ON! AJ DUO!

Highlights

"Game ON! AJ DUO!" is far more than a conventional concert; it is a meticulously crafted, immersive, sensory "gaming" experience. AJ DUO ingeniously transforms the stage into a series of virtual levels, utilizing the harmonica as a catalyst for interaction with live-synced visuals. The performance promises an unprecedented musical adventure where audiences are invited to "play along" with the music, turning every piece into a stage in an unfolding narrative.

About the Program

Formed in 2016, the harmonica duo AJ DUO (comprising Chung Wing-yan and Poon Sin-hang) has achieved international success in prestigious harmonica competitions. For their debut concert, they have chosen the Ngau Tau Kok Cultural Centre Music Hall as the venue to challenge the conventions of traditional recitals. By integrating harmonica mastery with multimedia technology, the musicians will transform into virtual avatars, guiding the audience through a sonic journey of classical, pop, anime, and video game music.

Performers

The concert is spearheaded by the harmonica duo AJ DUO, featuring Chung Wing-yan and Poon Sin-hang. They are joined by pianist Lam Sau-ting, whose masterful accompaniment will complement the nuanced timbre of the harmonicas, creating a compelling dynamic on stage.
