Overview
In the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of modern city life, we often find ourselves perpetually tense and defensive. We may have long forgotten that our bodies are 60% water. The "Melting into Movement" workshop invites participants to strip away these psychological and physical defenses, let go of resistance, and return to the softest, most natural state of bodily flow. This is more than just a dance class; it is a journey of releasing tension and reconnecting with oneself, allowing you to learn how to live in harmony with your body and feel the power of fluidity.
Instructors & Production Team
The event is presented by Y-Space, an organization dedicated to the promotion of dance arts. The session will be led by instructor Lai Ho-hei, incorporating the artistic philosophy of the i-Dance Festival to guide participants through a process of physical exploration.
Highlights
- Reconnecting with the Body: Utilize guided exercises to release long-term accumulated stress and tension.
- Rediscovering Flow: Reinterpret the relationship between resistance and fluidity, learning to adapt with the grace and flexibility of water.
- Inclusive Participation: Unless otherwise stated, the workshop is open to all individuals interested in dance.
