SMILE®+ Chung Ying Youth Theatre 2026/27 Phase 2 Audition

Overview

SMILE®+ Chung Ying Youth Theatre is a dedicated platform for local teenagers to express themselves, explore their creativity, and articulate their emotions. Through rigorous and systematic drama training, we guide members to explore their inner worlds, discover and elevate their performance potential, and build a professional appreciation and respect for the performing arts.

Our philosophy is to "learn earnestly, play earnestly." We encourage members to master acting skills through intensive rehearsals and practical stage performances, while learning to analyze and solve problems when facing challenges. In the collaborative atmosphere of the rehearsal room, members learn the vital importance of teamwork and build lasting friendships.

Audition Information

This is the phase 2 audition for the 2026/27 season, aimed at selecting prospective members to join the troupe. Please note that participation in the audition is required for course enrollment.

• Target Group: Secondary School Group (Secondary 1 to Secondary 5)
• Venue: Vab Studio
• Application Deadline: December 3, 2026

Course Overview

Successful candidates will participate in subsequent training sessions organized by Chung Ying Theatre Company:

Secondary School Group (MK-DR-71)

• Target: Secondary 1 - Secondary 5
• Venue: O2, 1 Tsat Po Street, San Po Kong
• Time: 10:00 - 13:00
• Dates: Dec 12, 19, 2026; Jan 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 2027; Feb 13, 20, 2027 (Saturdays)

Ticketing & Details

• Audition Fee: HKD 320 (Non-refundable. No refunds for absentees).
• The primary language of instruction is Cantonese.
• Applicants must choose a course corresponding to their current school grade.
