Hong Kong Science Fair 2026

Highlights

Organized by the Hong Kong Innovation Foundation, the 5th Hong Kong Science Fair is a flagship educational event dedicated to transforming student creativity into reality while promoting a robust innovation culture in Hong Kong. The fair will be held from June 27 to 28, 2026, at Exhibition Hall 3FG of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, showcasing innovative inventions from nearly 120 primary and secondary school teams that integrate artificial intelligence with diverse frontier technologies.

Program

A highlight of this year's event is the newly introduced 'Aerospace Engineering Zone.' Inspired by the historic mission of Hong Kong's first astronaut, Dr. Lai Ka-ying, this zone offers a deep dive into the daily lives of payload specialists and encourages youth to explore the wonders of space science. Additionally, UBTECH Robotics, a global leader in embodied AI, will display various humanoid robots, allowing visitors to experience the cutting-edge fusion of AI and mechanical engineering up close.

Interactive Experiences & Workshops

The venue will be transformed into an 'Innovation Carnival' featuring several interactive zones:

• Bulu Bulu Bubble Workshop: Combines scientific knowledge with sensory experience, allowing participants to hand-make their own bath bombs.
• Shake Shake Ice Factory: Utilizes physics principles to create refreshing slushes without a refrigerator.
• Home Racer 2.0: Promotes recycling by turning old household appliances into custom remote-controlled cars for speed races.
• 5th Anniversary Special Events: Features a scavenger hunt, QR code-based theme games, and limited-edition merchandise, including metal placards and 'Robo K.' blind boxes.

Ticketing

Admission to the fair is completely free. However, visitors must pre-register through the official booking platform. All proceeds from the 'Innovation Market' on-site will be donated to charity to support the long-term growth of local tech talent.
