Blue and White & Painted Ceramics Workshop (Beginner)

Overview

Originating from the Tang Dynasty, blue and white porcelain is a significant milestone in the history of Chinese ceramics. This art form brilliantly combines three-dimensional objects with two-dimensional painting, opening up broader creative possibilities. The "Blue and White & Painted Ceramics Workshop (Beginner)," presented by the Hong Kong Arts Centre, invites participants to explore this traditional art form. The workshop teaches essential painting techniques on ceramic surfaces, encouraging students to express their emotions and experience the therapeutic benefits of the creative process.

Instructors

This course is led by instructor Lee Tsz-leung, who will guide participants through the fundamentals of blue and white and painted ceramic techniques.
