Program Overview
Welcome to the artistic language of ceramics: ceramic patterns. Each design blends classical tradition with creative flair. Explore how various lines bring beauty and practicality to pottery, elevating the artistic value of each piece.
Beyond aesthetics, textures on pottery serve practical purposes. In ancient times, when vessels were shaped by hand, 'paddle' tools were used to compact the clay for durability, leaving behind inherent textures or cord marks that also improved grip. This workshop invites you to enrich your wheel-thrown pieces by pressing everyday objects into the clay to create unique, personalized textures. Join us and carve new meaning into your ceramics!
