Program Overview
The SMILE™ Chung Ying Kids Drama Course (Summer) is a signature arts education program launched by Chung Ying Theatre since 2008. Designed for children across various grade levels—including Pre K1, Pre K2, Pre K3, and Pre P (for primary 1-3 students)—the course utilizes immersive arts training and collaborative activities to foster comprehensive child development in an age-appropriate setting.
Highlights
The SMILE™ philosophy focuses on five essential developmental areas:
- Self-care: Nurturing independence and daily life skills.
- Motor Skills: Enhancing physical coordination through drama-based movement.
- Intelligence: Stimulating creativity and logical thinking.
- Language: Strengthening communication and verbal expression skills.
- Emotion: Building emotional regulation and social interaction capabilities.
The summer session runs throughout July and August, featuring an open class at the end of each term for parents to observe and celebrate their children's progress. Students with at least 80% attendance will receive a certificate of completion.
