Program
Life drawing is a classic artistic discipline and a fundamental way to express personal style. Over this 8-session course, participants will explore the versatility of human sketching using various media, including pencil, charcoal, pastel, and oil paints. The instructor will guide students through the works of masters such as Michelangelo, Gustav Klimt, and Alice Neel to analyze the proportions and structures of the male and female body. Students will learn to master line, shape, color, and texture, using observations of live models to capture emotion, rhythm, and sensory expression.
