Black and White: Sketching Intensive

Program

Black and white are far from simple! Sketching is about mastering the techniques of pencil and charcoal, transforming two-dimensional paper into a three-dimensional representation. You will discover how points and lines can achieve stunning visual effects.

This is a practical workshop suitable for all levels, where participants are grouped according to their proficiency. You will master basic sketching concepts using pencils and charcoal sticks, analyze the relationship between real objects and flat paper in three-dimensional space, and learn techniques for handling shapes, textures, and lighting to make your works look more vivid and realistic.

Venue & Access

The workshop is held at the Hong Kong Arts Centre. Located in Wan Chai, the venue is easily accessible via the Wan Chai MTR station and multiple bus routes.
