Overview
The Greater Bay Area Philharmonic is dedicated to arts accessibility and education, and is currently launching the "Charity and Public Welfare: Youth Internship Program." This initiative provides valuable internship opportunities for grassroots and subsidized school students, enabling those aspiring to pursue careers in arts administration or music to participate in the day-to-day operations of a professional orchestra and gain industry experience.
Scope of Internship
Under the guidance of the orchestra's professional team, interns will gain exposure to diverse roles, including but not limited to:
- Orchestra Administration: Assisting with daily office operations and documentation.
- Marketing & Social Media: Participating in promotional planning, content creation, and platform management.
- Stage Management & Production Support: Assisting with technical and production logistics for rehearsals and concerts.
- Music Education & Community Outreach: Helping organize and execute community engagement projects.
Eligibility
To ensure resources effectively reach the target demographic, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Target Group: Students currently enrolled in grassroots or subsidized schools.
- Age: 15 years old or above.
- Qualities: A strong passion for arts management or music, with good communication skills and a positive learning attitude.
- Commitment: Ability to participate in an internship period of at least one month.
