Highlights

The 'Gods' Assembly Arts Festival' and 'Zuni Young Artistic Academy 2026', presented by Zuni Icosahedron, mark the 30th anniversary of the Hong Kong Centre for Contemporary Culture and the 20th anniversary of the HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity. Using the concept of 'Gods' Assembly', this festival re-explores the theatre's historical essence as a space for communication between humans, spirits, and deities, reimagining it as a contemporary public and spiritual site. Audiences are invited to seven cross-cultural theatrical experiments and four deep-dive 'One Table, Two Chairs' forums, facilitating artistic exchange across Asia.

Curated by Danny Yung, this festival serves as both a performance showcase and a platform for research and education. Key features include:

• Seven Theatrical Experiments: Directed by a stellar lineup including Danny Yung, Liu Xiaoyi, Au Suet-yee, Xie Shu, Steve Hui, Edward Lam, and Olivier Cong.
• 'One Table, Two Chairs' Forums: Four sessions exploring the intersection of art, education, and culture (scheduled from July 5–8, 2026).
• Zuni Young Artistic Academy 2026: A creative and research-based laboratory focused on nurturing emerging talents.
