During the 2026 Chinese Culture Festival, the Luoyang Henan Opera Troupe will grace the Ko Shan Theatre New Wing with a series of performances honoring the legendary Master Ma Jinfeng. Known for establishing the 'Shuai Dan' (General/Warrior Woman) style—a bold fusion of Qingyi elegance, Daomadan agility, and Wusheng vigor—Ma Jinfeng’s legacy continues through her direct disciple, Guan Meili. This production promises to immerse audiences in the rich, resonant traditions of Henan Opera, often hailed as the 'Peony of Luoyang.'
