Overview

Welcome to the magnificent stage of the Tang Dynasty! "Tanggu Baixi," an extraordinary acrobatics drama performed by the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Acrobatic Troupe, is a highlight of the "Chinese Culture Festival 2026." This production transports audiences back to the golden era of dance and music. The narrative follows the story of Princess Wanchun, the beloved daughter of Emperor Xuanzong, documenting her passion for the Konghou and her dedication to dance under the mentorship of the famous performer Xie Aman. The play beautifully intertwines traditional etiquette, folk songs of the Yuefu, and vibrant Western Region dance styles, culminating in the tale of Princess Wanchun and the diplomat Yang Fei, who together founded the "Tongyi Troupe" to preserve the traditions of "Baixi."
