The "Hong Kong Football Festival 2026" is set to take place from July 31 to August 5, 2026, at the Main Stadium of the Kai Tak Sports Park. Recognized as an "M" Mark event, this prestigious festival aims to cement Hong Kong's reputation as a major hub for sports events in Asia by hosting some of the world's elite European football clubs.

Highlights

This summer, four legendary football clubs will grace the 50,000-seat Kai Tak stadium for two high-profile matches:

• Asahi Beer Cup: Manchester City vs. Inter Milan (August 1, 2026, at 7:30 PM)
• Kinlukton Cup: Chelsea vs. Juventus (August 5, 2026, at 7:30 PM)

These matches serve as vital warm-ups for the upcoming 2026/27 season and are expected to draw tens of thousands of local and international football enthusiasts, continuing the massive popularity seen in previous years.

Open Training and Community

Fans will have the opportunity to see their heroes up close during open training sessions:

• Manchester City Open Training: July 31, 2026, at 7:30 PM
• Chelsea Open Training: August 4, 2026, at 7:30 PM Tickets for these sessions will be available from May 14 at a flat price of HK$299. In a commitment to the community, TEG Sport will distribute 10,000 open training tickets to local youth and underprivileged groups.
