Overview

"Blueness in Tears" is an experimental stage play centered on the imagery of water, weaving together four gripping short stories that deeply explore the struggles, insecurities, and paths to self-healing experienced by women. Through subtle scenarios—ranging from mother-daughter confrontations in the kitchen to whispered secrets in hot springs—the performance invites audiences to traverse the space between reality and fantasy, offering a warm and evocative theatrical experience that contemplates the fluidity of female life.

Highlights

  • Four Compelling Stories:
    • "The Hotpot Lid": A tense culinary encounter where a mother discovers her daughter's adult toys; the boiling hotpot serves as a backdrop for emotional confrontation.
    • "The Girl Without Toes": A narrative on insecurity in love, where the protagonist hides her secrets until a visit to a mountain hot spring allows her to observe the complex realities of others' bodies.
    • "Rain Clouds in the Bathroom": A meditation on solitude, where the bathroom transforms into a greenhouse cultivating plants that embrace the protagonist.
    • "The Ghost in the Sheep Placenta Water": A poetic exploration of pregnancy and loss, where the ghost of a lost fetus speaks with a new beginning.
  • Immersive Experience: To enhance intimacy, the first two rows feature floor cushion seating. Participants will be required to remove their shoes to sit on the floor; please wear socks and comfortable clothing.
