Presented by the Hong Kong Playground Association, the solo play 'Home Demolition' starring Lai Chai-ming returns to the stage this August. The play centers on a squatter hut in Tin Sum Village, which serves as a vessel for the memories of three generations of the Lai family. Through a dramatic lens, the performance navigates the protagonist's struggle with government land resumption and his subsequent journey of self-discovery. Following a sold-out run last year, this emotionally charged production transforms the cold topic of 'demolition' into a deeply personal and touching experience.
