Overview
This summer, the Hong Kong Space Museum once again joins forces with the Film Programmes Office to present the 'Summer Family Film Festival'. Designed for families, the event combines immersive fulldome cinema with interactive post-screening activities to provide a fun and educational astronomical experience.
Program Highlights
Fulldome Film: 'CAPCOM GO! The Apollo Story' (Cats in Space)
Hosted in the Space Theatre, this film follows a group of curious cats and their friends as they board an abandoned space station. Encountering a left-behind AI robot, the team must use their scientific knowledge to overcome challenges and help the robot achieve its dream.
Post-screening Activity: 'Roaming the Space Station'
Following the film, participants will head to the Lecture Hall for an interactive session. An Assistant Curator from the Hong Kong Space Museum will host this segment, breaking down the complexities of space station technology and science in an engaging, child-friendly format.
