Overview
One Cool Stage proudly presents its debut stage production, 'The Grand Wedding' (大龍鳳). Based on the classic work by renowned playwright Lung Man-hong, the story revolves around journalist Man Ka-shing, who inadvertently discovers a nude photo of his future brother-in-law in bed with someone other than his sister. This discovery sets off a chaotic, absurd, and darkly comedic chain of events within the family. This performance marks the third run of the play, presented in a brand-new version.
Cast & Production
This production features a star-studded lineup, with Louis Cheung making his debut as a stage producer alongside producers Cheung Chi-man and Kwok Fu. Chu Pak-him, a former recipient of the Best Actor award at the Hong Kong Drama Awards, will serve as both director and lead actor. The play also features special appearances by Hong Kong Film Award winner Fish Liew and Lillian Ho. The ensemble cast includes Ng Ping, Wong Tsz-kiu, Tsui Ho-cheong, Bruce Tong, Hui Yuet-sheung, Chiu Kwan-yu, Li Yu-chen, and Wong Sze-wing.
