Overview

Windmill Grass Theatre returns with their latest original production, Taste of Home, featuring the powerhouse quartet of Leung Cho-yiu, Tang Chun-yip, Siu Mei-kwan, and Kearen Pang. Building on the foundation of their project Memory of Hong Kong seven years ago, this music theatre production dives deep into the collective memory of Hong Kong through the lens of local culinary traditions.

Program Details

Taste of Home presents a series of vignettes centered around the culinary culture of Hong Kong. From traditional handmade Cantonese dishes to humble family recipes, the show captures the warmth and nostalgia associated with the food we grew up with. Each actor brings their own unique memories to the stage, transforming personal stories into a collective experience that resonates with every audience member.

Venue & Access

The performance takes place at the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre Theatre (111 Shau Kei Wan Road, Hong Kong). The venue is easily accessible via the MTR, located just a short walk from Sai Wan Ho Station.
