Highlights

The "City.Music and Dance" 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Music Composition Project reaches its finale. This final showcase marks the culmination of the journey for ten young composers, demonstrating the deep integration of their original music with modern dance. Artistic Director Leung Chi-hin participates in the creation process, leading the students and dancers to explore the art of "symbiosis" and presenting a cross-disciplinary audiovisual feast for the audience.

Program

Designed to cultivate young musical talent across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, this project moves music creation from the page to the stage through cross-disciplinary collaboration and professional mentorship. The showcase features works by ten composers, performed live by professional dancers and instrumentalists, highlighting the intricate interaction and response between music and movement. The program lasts approximately two hours, with an intermission.

Venue & Access

The event will be held at the Kwai Tsing Theatre Black Box Theatre. Please allow sufficient time to arrive at the venue.

Ticketing & Deposit Information

This event operates on a deposit basis. A deposit of HKD 200 is required to reserve a seat. For participants who successfully attend the event, the deposit will be fully refunded within 6 to 8 weeks after the event. Deposits will not be refunded for those who do not attend. Participants will receive one Parsons Music coffee voucher upon attendance.

Note: The program is not suitable for children under the age of 6.
