Experience a unique artistic journey with the musical "Yuliang," a production supported by the China National Arts Fund, exploring the soul and artistic legacy of Pan Yuliang, China's first female artist to study in France. This production offers a deeply immersive look at her life and her relentless pursuit of creative freedom.

Program Overview

"Yuliang" portrays the life of the legendary Pan Yuliang. Defying the constraints of her era and gender, she turned to painting as her lifeline and her voice. Following a successful staged reading last year, this full-scale production dives deeper into her resilience, artistic fervor, and her lifelong dedication to her craft, aiming to spark inspiration and reflection in today's audience.

Performance Structure

The experience is divided into two distinct parts:

• Part 1: Immersive Exhibition (Opens at 14:30 or 19:30). The auditorium transforms into an exhibition of Pan Yuliang's works, allowing the audience to walk through her world before the performance begins.
• Part 2: The Musical Performance (Starts at 15:00 or 20:00). A approximately 2 hour 15 minute performance featuring powerful music and choreography. (No intermission).

Note: Due to venue limitations, entry to certain exhibition areas is on a first-come, first-served basis.
