A Theatrical Journey into the Wisdom of Age

Arts' Options proudly presents 《自得耆樂》 (Joyful Aging), a unique theatrical experience that celebrates the spirit, wisdom, and diverse life stories of the elderly. Featuring a cast of 25 senior performers from the "Golden Age" artistic training program, this production explores the rich tapestry of human experience—sharing moments of joy, struggle, resilience, and hope.

About the Production

This production is more than just a performance; it is a testament to the power of art to bridge generations and provide a platform for seniors to share their voices. Under the expert guidance of renowned directors Chen Gui Fen (陳桂芬), Bu Wan Ting (布韻婷), and Yau Kam (游錦), these performers transform their personal memories and insights into moving, authentic stage narratives. The show invites the audience to witness the "temperature of the years"—a reminder that life remains full of potential and beauty at every stage.

The Creative Team

The project is spearheaded by Arts' Options, a non-profit organization founded in 2011 by veteran artists dedicated to life education through the arts. Their approach emphasizes the creative, infinite possibilities of performance as a medium for positive social values.
