The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) is proud to present 《伸縮管‧瘋‧禽》 (Pipe Organ Madness), a captivating musical event that blends the grandiosity of the pipe organ with the expressive power of the trombone. This performance showcases the collaborative artistry of organist Chan Sheung-chi and trombonist Chan Hok-yin.

About the Performance

This recital explores the unique tonal dialogue between the pipe organ—often called the "King of Instruments"—and the trombone, a brass instrument known for its vocal-like qualities and dynamic range. The program, titled playfully as 《伸縮管‧瘋‧禽》 (referencing the trombone's telescopic slide and the organ's bird-like whistle stops), promises an afternoon of high-energy and delicate musical textures.
