Collaborating with Hong Kong designers, the exhibition highlights the innovative thinking and experimental spirit of ancient craftsmen while exploring how these classic crafts influence contemporary design philosophies and modern living.

Program

Located at Gallery 5 of the Hong Kong Palace Museum, this exhibition delves into the aesthetics of ancient Chinese objects through three perspectives: design, production, and usage. Visitors will not only admire treasures from the imperial collection but also gain a fresh perspective on the contemporary value and cultural significance of traditional crafts through the eyes of modern designers. It is a dialogue between tradition and innovation that showcases the depth and possibilities of Chinese design heritage.
