Brahms’ three violin sonatas are presented as a triptych of emotional landscapes. The concert guides the audience through the composer’s internal world, spanning from gentle nostalgia to intense passion:
- Violin Sonata No. 1 in G major, Op. 78 ("Rain"): Reflective and tender.
- Violin Sonata No. 2 in A major, Op. 100: Characterized by its clarity and lyrical fluidity.
- Violin Sonata No. 3 in D minor, Op. 108: A dramatic climax of profound intensity.
