The performance covers a wide range of classic excerpts, including: 'Love at the Phoenix Pavilion,' 'Cantonese Opera Meets Intimate Friends,' 'Dream of the Peony Pavilion: The Ghost Encounter,' 'The Legend of the White Snake: Stealing the Immortal Herb,' 'The Legend of the White Snake: The Broken Bridge,' 'Beating the Golden Branch,' 'Qiao Pan'an: Meeting at the Shop,' 'Reincarnation of the Red Plum: Meeting at the Plum Tree,' 'Zhao Zilong Intercepts the River,' 'The Purple Hairpin: Picking up the Hairpin,' 'Dream Meeting at Taihu Lake,' 'Tang Bohu Seeks Divine Favor,' and 'Pinggui Leaves the Kiln.'
Performers
Presented by the Sing Fai Cantonese Opera Promotion Association, the production features coaching by Yang Lihong and Tsang Kin-man, with Yeung Kin-ping serving as Music Director and Head Percussionist, and Mak Ka-wai as Percussion Lead. The young cast has undergone rigorous professional training to deliver this spectacular show.
