Exhibition Introduction
Double Q Gallery is delighted to present "Search Party," a solo exhibition featuring the latest works by British artist Tomo Campbell. The exhibition runs from June 17 to August 8, 2026, showcasing a new body of paintings.
Creative Concept
Drawing profound inspiration from Neoclassical, Rococo, and Flemish art traditions, Campbell expressively reinterprets classical subjects through a lens of rhythmic movement and romantic imagination. His recurring motifs—such as ancient Greek deities, horses, and hunters—often appear on the verge of slipping into distortion or abstraction. This unique approach transforms the gallery space into an immersive, dream-like environment.
About the Artist

His work has been featured in group exhibitions at The Burberry Art Space (Korea), Timothy Taylor (London), and Bo Lee and Workman (Bruton), among others. In 2023, his work was presented on David Zwirner's PLATFORM via County Gallery. Notably, he served as the first artist-in-residence at the English National Ballet from 2012 to 2013.
